Blayse pulls the four Brussels transit operators (STIB/MIVB, De Lijn, TEC and SNCB/NMBS) into one interface. Riders see the stops around them, the next departures, official disruptions and their own saved lines and stops. For STIB, vehicles are drawn on the map in real time.
The community layer is borrowed from Waze: riders report delays, crowded vehicles, accidents, cleanliness problems and other incidents on the network.
I built the validation system that scores each report on where the reporter is, how recent the report is and how many other riders confirm it, plus clustering so several reports about the same incident collapse into one.
The app also carries a journey planner for routes across the whole network, and runs in both French and Dutch, the two languages every Brussels rider switches between.
